Nights are drawing out :)

Still a glimmer at 6pm here, except for today as we're under a gray shroud of misery.

 

I'm lucky enough to work 15 minutes away from home these days, and I can work flexi-time. So for the last few weeks I've been doing 8 til 4, which means I've been seeing some daylight after work. In more recent days, I've even managed to squeeze in the odd decent walk along the beach before it gets dark.

No. I once tried fishing when I was younger. I've caught seaweed and the occasional small dog crab.

 

Thats a shame, being so close to the sea.

 

If you set off from Majuba car park at about 4:30PM, and then walk briskly the two and a half miles or so to the tees estuary, you get to see views like this by the time you get there:



Then you have to walk back in the dark.

 

Yes you can notice the longer days now . Lovely crisp cold winter clear days . So I could watch the sunrise this morning at 7:30 as I sat on the M6 sandwiched between two juggernauts , every now and then getting into second gear. But as you say John we are getting working light to nearly 5:30 now
