      I was the one who had always lost her PE kit, gone the wrong room or forgotten a vital book. Still, at least I wasn't the one who had to sit at the front of the coach clutching a sick bag.

        I wouldn't call you loony, I had a pet snail as well!! I LOVE snails!! :yess:

          When i was a kid i collected loads of snails up,made them a little 'run' and painted different symbols on their shells with nail varnish so i could name them and wrote it all down in a little book.....

          it was a glorious sunny day so i thought i'd let them 'sun bathe' in their run.....it was the year we had a heat wave:oops: possiblt early 70's....
          Sadly all my little pals perished......

          ok call me a looney by all means:cry3:

              my grandmother used to have snails in large cardboard boxes ....

              she used to feed them fresh herbs for several weeks....

              before cooking them in garlic and served with fresh crusty greek village bread
