I must admit, I only use smile, sad and wink ... hate all the proffusion of others, which make the forum look like a kids playschool.

But I also hate all the fonts people use ... nothing sets my teeth on edge more than some luridly coloured post in the universally hated Comic Sans MS ....

But there again I'm a grumpy g*t

I disagree, Len. This is a place for an informal chat and I have no objection to people personalising their posts. It's difficult to imagine Dai's comments without the familiar blue lettering - I feel the same about Victoria's choices. R4 recently serialised this book which, believe it or not, turned out to be fascinating:-
