How about a book that isn't for beginners but for people who are on a more intermediate level? There are too many books out that go over the same beginner teachings and so briefly too.

Just to add to this topical thread, I think that the beginners books have been helped along by dr hessayon. A good range of what can be described as help for some but not all.
With regard to a new book as before all are after something for themselves and not looking to the wider picture.
If we could create a book of new angles then it would be totaly radical in its appearance and format.
There lyes the question, how to develop something that no other creator has.
From the soil and all that goes with it to the fruits of your labour and the pests that take them away.
Most has been sorted into various volumes on this subject and will no doubt be written about for years to come.
It is up to you what you think will or will not make a good book, trust your instincts and start at the begining work through till its finished.
Good luck in your venture and may the soil be with you.

Of course they do. They have a bit of a sweet tooth. Their biggest export is of course the Mars Bar. They also invented Marzipan, which literally translates as Mars Bread. (Marzi, as in Mars, Pan as in Bread. The Romans encountered Martians and pinched some of their language, which is why even today some earth languages derived from latin use the word 'pan' for bread).

And the word stem of Mashed Potato is actually "Marsed Potato" as, having no teeth, the Martians used to suck it up through a straw.

That makes perfect sense, yes. So when Walter Raleigh returned home having discovered potatoes in the new world, and everyone thought he'd merely been across the pond, he was speaking metaphorically, and actually the vast ocean he'd crossed before discovering the new world was actually the cold vacuum of space between here and Mars. And that's why Martians advertise Smash. It must cost a fortune to export their potatoes fresh, so they had to dry them out and disintegrate them to a powder, probably using using technology derived from their Martian Death Rays, so that they'd be cheaper to transport.

And there is very little water on Mars, so they wouldn't want to be exporting any of it, hence the dry powder.
