Lucky people and good luck to them

None of my 100 relations, or any of their relations have won millions and some has filtered down :-(

If I was to win millions, I would keep one million, and give the rest away to Relations and Friends, inclusive of friends on here

I enjoy my poor life as I am, I have always worked and have a small modest home and a very small garden
When I came into money, I gave it to my children to free them of mortgage debts
Yes I would love to have bought my Aunty's house, rather large and a five terraced garden overlooking the Forth and Edinburgh, but I believe the money was better spent letting two young families live on their earnings, than work every minute to pay off mortgages and struggle as I did to provide

I even drive a four year old SKODA, I could have bought a Range Rover but I did not

But I am just me, it is the way I am, I still work away on a small wage, but do take enjoyable holidays thrice a year, which we look forward to

Julie did the same with her inheritance, gave it to the kids, we have had our lives, and are happy with our poor suroundings it is all we have known, We wish them a better life

      Ooops off on me tangents

      Regards

      Jack McHammocklashing

I'd be dead in a month .... I'm weak, the body can only take so much, and a switch from the occasional Stella to several litres of Johhny walker blue with generous lashings of wacky baccy would be too much of a shock for my system

Sounds a bit like Mr George Best

in my mind it would have been a lot better to have made 10 winners 4.5
Million Pounds better off .. the system is crazy .. no one deserves to win that much .. its all about greed it seems to me .. Just my Opinion today ..
tomorrow it may differ from today .. :rolleyespink:

I stand by my original post with the caveat, IF I have never had it how would I know how I would act,

My original I was just talking around £200k, and I am 65, I do not expect to reach 70, so retire and live as I always have on a small wage, an ordinary run about car, but enough to have a couple of good holidays a year
The majority went to my Daughters

As a young person with £45m Then it would give a million each to my Parents, and siblings,(amounts filtering down to cousins and friends)
I would like the big mansion house with massive gardens, potter my self but obviously have professional gardeners and budget a lifestyle that would take me to the age of 100
I can not imagine this sum of money or the sums, but in my mind it would be £15 million gone by, nice home and give aways to family leaving £30m to last without investment 80 years (therefore the budget would be £375k a year costs)
So you are never going to live like a BANKER

I would see no point in paying £20m of it for a luxury yacht anchored in Cannes harbour for 50 weeks a year

Perhaps when you are my age reality does kick in (boring old fart) :)
