Another sculpture that needs a name

I nipped over to the workshop this morning to finish the seemingly endless sanding, and oiling of my latest creation for the garden. It's made from green oak and measures just over 1 metre tall and weighs nearly 50kg!

So far I have been told that it looks like a candle flame, a tadpole, a sperm, a piece of sea weed, a cormorant and a sprouting seed.
With all of the above differing views, I reckon that I have succeeded in making something different.

So what's it to be called?

 

Tears of a Quercus?

 

I like it, but couldn't name it. I asked my wife and son. My son (who is just turned 3) tells me it is a 'pop pop'.

 

Rastaquouere

 

"Creation", follows if it looks like a sperm, sprouting seed etc.. and you did create it.

 

Rastaquouere = 'a social climber'

I would leave it unnamed .I think its beautiful,reminds me of a dancer for some reason.

Looks like radicle sculpture to me.

 

Something plaguing me is I know what I want to say but can't think how to put it into words.

It is cut from green oak we are told, and it looks a bit like an acorn sprouting. So it might kind of symbolise the tree not actually being reborn, but starting again, casting off years worth of ageing and weathering like a new beginning.

That's not even close to what I'm trying to say, but its the best I can do within the confines of language.

 

There has been some really good suggestions so far and even I'm beginning to sit and think about the project in a deeper way because of it. Many thanks to you all for that.
Oddly my very first thought was Seed Of life but I stupidly did a Google images search of the title which kind of numbed the idea.

For some odd reason I was thinking Bobtail, looking again it's a blob with a tail, so there you go! 'Blobtail'

 

The tail actually cork screws around, so I guess pigtail may suit it better.:nono::WINK1:
