My Experance With All Drugs & Drink Led TO DISASTER 25 years of HELL

 

Sorry to hear that...............

I was lucky - my recreational drug use was just that, recreational. Party powder was an occasional treat (less so when I lived in Amsterdam), but never a problem.

Nicotine on the other hand has it's claws into me. I've tried everything, including hypnotism and prescribed tablets . In January I started one day "on"
, one day "off". In February it became two days "off", March will be three days off. This has caused me less "distress" than any other effort so far. In addition to this I start hypnotism in March. This is how a sixty a day customer of mine quit - he still has hypnotism top ups four years on, although he suspects that he could do without.

 

You know the closest I ever got to drugs was a bit of weed or some herbal concoction off a mate although there was the time that me a and a freind where sharing drinks and we think it got spiked don't remember much of that night...

 

weed is all that I have done (used to grow wild where I lived) .... 2 pints of beer and a spliff and you were mellow ... when I was younger, a good weekend would be a camping/fishing trip with close friends in a remote area ... many of my mates preferred the nightclubs and disco's

I have not smoked for a long time ... last time was when I found a bag of weed on the pavement when I went to our local shop to buy milk one evening .... felt like I won the lotto :D

looking back, my mates who smoked and had a few pints never ever got involved in fights/arguments ... those who drank heavy were always involved in some or other trouble

but saying that, it all boils down to self restraint .... if you smoke several spliffs several times a day, everyday, you will soon be in a lot of trouble and that is when people try the harder stuff

many of my mates went to the harder stuff, I always declined and was offered cocaine etc on several occasions .... one of my close mates was even hooked on strong cough mixture and eventually, even his teeth started going brown ...

it was sad to see .... and nothing much one could do to help

Never tried anything other that an ordinary occasional cigarette and plan to keep it that way.

I cannot imagine a better kick than a purse full of money and a day out in town as far as I am concerned (simple taste I suppose...)

 

If you read certain conspiracy sites their is a good discussion on how it suits the governments in some countries to keep the population subdued by drugs as their is no employment for them and hence no future.There is even stories of government agents being involved in drug running.

 

I would say they have won!it is supposed to be cheaper and easier to get heroin and coke than a decent bit of draw (slang for cannabis)

 

My three big no-no's where herion, crack cocaine (which is thoroughly evil) and ecstasy.
It's ecstasy that is causing me a headache at the moment - my stepson has admitted using it after I asked him straight. He assures me that it is only once a month or so, but I'm not happy as there is too much risk with this drug. Trouble is, what to do?

What I cannot get through to him is that 99.99% of the time it's ok, but when that 0.01% happens it will almost certainly be untreatable. He has agreed not to mix alcohol and E's, but we all know that it's all too easy to get caught up in the moment!
He has also agreed to go and see my GP for a medical check-up and a chat - she spent twelve years in Bristol and works in a project with local schools as a drug councillor.
On the whole, I trust him to be sensible, but he cannot ever be sure of the quality of the stuff he buys - I have wondered about getting one of the E test kits (which are widely used in Holland), but I doubt that it would ever be used.........
