My son newly married last October has already done his bit for Valentines day. His wife's birthday was on the 11th so decided to combine the two.

He put together a treasure hunt for her with clues and she received a gift with every stop-off in various locations including a neighbours and a cousins house, also a park. He'd also arranged to have dinner with her best friend and other half, then whisked her off to a hotel overnight.

        He's such a romantic, don't know where I went wrong! :)

I was presented with a very heavy small box this morning,O the imagined delights ,cant be a fry pan to small a box. Dose it never end........he brought me Marmite, granted its the largest jar I have ever seen 500g. When did they start putting jokes on the back of the bottles. So looking forward to next year.

The work was 'unveiled' today in London's Greenwich Park in time for Valentines Day. The sculptor used 420 jars of Champagne Marmite to create the work.
[IMG] The artist said: "It will be interesting to see if this gains more popularity than the statue at St Pancras.. I'm sure that Marmite will once again polarize the nation – you'll either love it or hate it. It's a good thing I like the stuff, as I was licking my fingers as I created it!"

                      The Kiss, covered in Marmite!

marmite is ok, but Bovril is much better (for me)

fresh crusty bread thickly sliced (the crust is the best), with a thick layer of butter (not margarine), and a thin layer of bovril ...

or ... ryvita (the cracked black pepper ones), with butter, bovril and slices of either brie cheese or machango cheese ontop .... I could live on this:)
