My family growing up was medium height....however being with Brad, lets just say that i've had a sore neck for the last 24 years .....from looking waaaaaaay up :lolpoint::lolpoint:

My MIL says its because their family is Scottish :WINK1:

I have a pal he is 5' 9" his wife is 4'7" their two sons aged 22 and 26 are 6' 6"

My own daughters tower above me, and their husbands again are in the 6' plus bracket
Nelsons Navy 1805 the height of the tween decks was 5' and the average sailor was 4'6" ?

They say you can not beat organic veg milk etc so why are the 1950s kids smaller than 1980s kids with there artificial grown veg and fully skimmed milk ?

I am not very tall, but I'm happy the same because during my childhood I was very short.
In my classroom, I was one of the shortest.
Even all my girl-school-mates were taller than me.
At the age of 13 I was 140 cm tall.
Luckily, starting from 13 I bagan to turn from a child to a boy and also my height arose.
Nearly 10 cm (how many inches ?) every year.
And eventually I got an average height (In Italy 5'9'' is an average one) and much taller of many girls that were previously taller than me.


PS: so you are a Man U supporter. Aren't you ?
When I was a child (in the '70), Man U was not the strongest.
Manchester City was more famous than Man U and the strongest team was Liverpool.
Such a team as Chelsea, for example, was a minor one, and other famous british team were Arsenal, Totenham, some years later also Aston Villa. But they were ancient times where such players as Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, Pat Shilton (the goal keeper) played...

 

I am 6'2, but don't really feel that tall..

My girlfriend is 5'11, and probably taller than me in heels...
