    Trying this again,

    Anyone know the steps for adding a Youtube video please?

    Yesterday when I asked it was miscontrued due to a typo in my heading.

    Wordpress is <code></code> Some its media in BBCode. I see neither here, nothing seems to be in FAQs.

    Could admin maybe do a 'sticky video' on 'how to' for new members?

    Hi 6d,

    Its quite straightforward, just copy the url of the youtube vid you want and then paste it into your post.:)

      There is no attributes i.e BBcode/media in my view.

      HTML which I see

      No, that just gives link back to Youtube.

      Code does the same...only text link.

      I just paste the url link into the post, then press 'Go advanced', which shows a blue link in the preview window, then I press ''preview post' and the video magically appears. Dunno if thats the way you're supposed to do it but it always works for me :dbgrtmb:

        You don't get any simpler than copying the URL (from the address bar), and then pasting it into either a 'Quick reply' or 'Advanced reply' box.

        GC software recognises it as a Youtube link ;)
