Exotic seed swap anyone?

I'd love some of the Mirabilis jalapa seeds!

 

Ok, Sorry for the delay...

I have the following;

Canna Paniculata ~ 6 seeds 3 left.
Canna Glauca ~ 5 seeds
Brugmansia Arborea ~ 6 seeds 3 left.
Red Torch Ginger ~ 6 seeds Seed now gone.
Miracle Tree (Moringa Oleifera) ~ 4 seeds

These are all fresh seed; but I also have;

Kennedia Rubicunda ~ 6+ seed
Some gone but I still have a few more.
This seed is what I saved from my own plant from about 6-7 years ago, I sowed 10 seed last year and 5 germinated after soaking for 48 hrs, so there appears to be still a reasonable viability.

I have just recieved and sown some seed for Moringa Oleifera (Miracle Tree), I've got a few spare so added these to my list...

 

What is this blue one longk?? It's gorgeous!! Is it easy to grow?

 

Lathyrus sativus azureus Catztail - absolute doddle to grow!

 

Could I possibly get some longk? I do have a few bits I could put on this thread. I'll have to go through them and see exactly what I have.

 

Sounds like a lot of work to me ... when one packet is sent out send an email to an Admin to ask them to remove that from the list ??

Or even send the "whole replacement list" ??

A post that the O/P can re-edit to mark items as "Sold" would be as good, and not take up the good auspices of the Admins ?

 

One suggestion is to have a thread of people (or a central person) listing the seeds that they have on offer. If the posters retain the ability to edit their own post, then as Kristen said they can add 'sold', or remove the entry or replace or edit their list ad infinitum. Actually the last edited message at the bottom would give a hint as to how current the list was.

In fact there is no reason why you couldn't have a wanted section at the bottom of your post as well.

However, to keep it concise, I would suggest that people refrain from cheerful banter and just restrict the posts to lists of seeds. And perhaps pictures should be restricted to thumbnails, otherwise the thread could run to many pages over time and get very diluted. All negotiations and transactions could be carried out by PM. And maybe the first post should be by an administrator outlining whatever rules are decided.
