Have you been reading my mail again Shiney?
I've just had the pleasure of receiving my regular Readers Digest "Winning" Draw entry.
I have written, emailed and telephoned to stop it but nothing seems to work.
This time I've folded and stapled the Returns envelope in the appropriate place to display the address in the address window of my "Valuable Documentation" envelope and returned it (stamp free).:oopss:
Do you think they will have to pay the Penalty Charge to Royal Mail? - yeah, right!:wallbanging:

Ah - I managed to stop Readers Digest.

Each time they send you something, you take every bit of paper out of the envelope, tear it up (apart from the bit which gives your name and address - after all, you want them to know who it's from) cram it back into their pre-paid envelope - adding any other junk mail you may have knocking around - and drop it in the nearest post box. Do this a couple of times and they soon get the message!:)

Hahaha ... you owe me a pint from the "Print Styling" bet that the upgrade fixed this post that I took with you. (Can't remember if you accepted the bet, or not, but no matter. Oh ... PinchAndPunch NoReturns otherwise you'll be betting me a £1M that the sun rises tomorrow!)

I didn't take you up on it (it looked like a sucker's bet) but I did thank you. When you turn up you can have a cuppa instead.

Years ago I had problems trying to stop Readers digest, I tried everything. The last thing I did was write moved away on the outside and put it back in the post box. Didn't hear anything more. :)

Friend of mine lived in flat 36 on the 9th floor of Civic Centre - you know:

        36 Civic Centre
        Anytown

and he got a letter from readers digest promising that he's won some car and it said:

        Dear Mr Blogs

Imagine how surprised your neighbours will be to see you driving up Civic Centre to number 36

        No sh1t sherlock!
