Can anyone tell me how to turn off E mails everytime someone posts in the same thread as me.
My in box is filling up fast.

I've unticked every box I can think of that might apply and still they keep coming.

Cheers Lolimac, I was just about to say the same:dbgrtmb: Also, after you've done that, you'll need to go back to threads you were already watching and unwatch them, i had the same problem.

It is working well now, the slowness of the first couple of days has gone. All the new features are a big step forward and the whole site seems easier on the eye. I like the new way of posting images, much, much easier than faffing about with resizing and using photobucket.

A big well done to all involved :dbgrtmb:

Blimey I'd better be careful, I'll be chucked out of the grumpy old man club if I can't find something to moan about :)

Thanks Ziggy, yes they are awful, so I took a detour along the A323 and got stuck at the level crossing in Ash for 5 minutes and after that the Blackwater Valley A331 has bridge strengthening works just on the M3 junction, going along the A30 to Camberley is not an option because of all the traffic headed for London ..... :snooze:

Ah I feel better for that, a good moan to renew my membership to the boring old gits club at the same time :)

              Just a moan
It no longer tells you how many are viewing the Forum, (is it busy or dead)

It no longer shows you the date at the top of the first post, unless you notice it before you open it ie:- You fail to notice the time before you enter the thread, then someones first post has ten pics, eventually at the bottom you see it was posted in Jul 2008 :-(

Jack you can view who's on the forum. It's on the right hand side of the home page towards the top.

              Hi Jack
you need to select Forum on the top menu to see it.
It looks to me as though you are in the same position as me with another issue.
When I post it doesn't appear in the "Whats New" index, although it appears on the "Spy" list.
I have emailed for support but as yet no response.
Any Mods reading this - can you help?

That's my "best bit" ... together with being able to stop specific forums showing in the What's New (although I'm having some issues with that, but fairly sure its just me)

I agree, although I think its Swings & Roundabouts. When typing a reply I can see the Date of the post just above (i.e. at the bottom of the last message) - that STOPS me replying to a thread from Jul 2008 :)

I've got the best of both worlds. At my age I can't remember what the good things were on the old forum - what old forum
