    Good morning everyone,

The strong wind has dropped completely :dbgrtmb:. I was going to do some work in the garden yesterday but, even with my thermals on :heehee:, it was too cold with that biting wind.

    Lots to do today.

    Have a great day

    Good morning everyone,
Thanks everyone for the well wishes.

Its going to be a nice day here, supposed to warm up as the week goes on...that'll be nice.

Lastnight was a bad nights sleep, i kept waking up, either from coughing or sneezing, or from the pain around my eye....finally took another pill around 3am, so that helped....today is a little more swollen, but not much more bruising, although they said it may take a couple days for that to come out....great!!

Yes Penny expect you will come out all black and blue in a day or two. Sorry you had a bad night because of it.

Hive of industry in my lounge at the moment had to shut myself in the bedroom to get away from the sound and dust of an electric sander linked to a small hoover! But he is doing a professional job of preparation before painting.

It was a rather nasty day yesterday for working outside Shiney, even with thermals on.

Hope everyone else is ok, WOO, Loli, Kandy et al. Take care all and have a good day. :)

      Good morning everyone,

I am up early this morning as I had to get up to spend a penny and then had to go out into the garden to close the back gate that was banging shut as the wind has got up and it was making a right racket and i don't want to disturbe the neighbours:snork:

The problem is now that once I am up and about I can't sleep so decided to do some surfing instead until we get up at six :snooze: It is also raining which was forecast so that will put some more water in the ground :)

Greetings Shiney,I see you are on the graveyard shift as well:snork:

      See you all later {yawn}:loll:

      Hi Kandy,

Yes, I was just thinking about going to bed at that time. I made myself a cuppa and read a bit and then had an hour's snooze. No rain here but it's getting windy.

Barry moves today and I'll go round there tomorrow to check everything out and do all his phone calls, read the meters etc.

      Have a great day

      Good morning again everyone,

Shiney,Good Luck with Barrys move and hope everything goes off ok and that you get the meter readings sorted out for him:) Can you also pass on a message to Mrs Shiney letting her know that I am using the Vitamin E on my cut and then swallowing the capsule, but the only problem seems that I forget the stuff is on my face and i end up with sticky fingers when i keep touching it:doh:

Loli,I do hate having to get up in the night but now I am getting a bit older I find now that I have to get up at least once in the night, sometimes two times then i wonder why when i look in the mirror in the mornings I have bags under my eyes:snork: I managed to nod off on the settee which was ok until our Willow decided to lie on me,and he is a bit of a heavy lump although he is a slim cat:snork:

Moyra,I hate the noise of sanders as well when Mr Kandy was sanding our hall walls the other month and had to get out of the house because of the noise and dust.Whaty does Amber think to it all?Hope today is better for you:smile:

Hope that Penny and Woo are ok and hope Penny that your wound isn't giving you too much jip:smile:

We still have strong winds and rain here still so glad I went out and did my litter pick yesterday although i am sure there will be more in the hedges by the end of the day:gaah:

Morning Loli, Morning Shiney, and et al to follow.

Shiney, I was going to ask when Barry was going to move. I hope it all goes smoothly for him.

I am off to the eye clinic this morning and not before time. My eyes do not seem to have been right since they did that lasering. Not sure what is on the agenda today other than a diabetes retinal screen which the ordinary clinic cannot do because of the glaucoma aspect.

Well have a good day all and don't over do it Steve's already started rubbing down the plasterwork where he has made good and got one coat of paint on part of the wall last night, it is starting to look good after looking so shabby for so many years. Got to try and resurrect the landlady's 23 year old curtains when I come back from the hospital. The linings have all gone so am going to have to take them out and see if I can buy separate linings for them. The material is still surprisingly good after all those years. Boy is the landlady going to get a surprise when she next visits as she is busy saving her pennies for all this expense which it wont cost her but she can pay for the materials if she likes.

      Bye for now. :)

Morning Kandy, you posted while I was posting. Yes, at least going to the hospital I get away from the sanding for awhile. He has fixed my little spare hoover to the other end of his sander so he collects a lot of the dust. See you all later.

      Good morning everyone,

Its sunny and windy here today, so that'll do a number on the snow!!

Had a much better sleep lastnight, eye is still really sore, more so around the cut.....i need to take off the surgical strips today and add some ointment and put some clean strips on, that should be fun!!

I'm home today, so i'll do that later and might start some seeds too.
