Unless I'm being thick and missed it, why hasn't this thread already been started on the BBC Gardeners World forum?

Or it could just be a very clever way of gaining access to houses in order to rob them.

Have you contacted the BBC Gardeners World team directly, to see if this is a legitimate thread? I would.:th scifD36:

Its impossible to find a direct link to talk to Gardeners World, so I checked out Craig, he's done other films for the BBC.

      Morning all!
We do use a variety of sources for the programme, but we are still researching a feature on interior horticulture (houseplant enthusiast, etc.) so if anyone can help in this matter, then we would be happy to hear from you.
      Regards,
      Craig.

Wow that is an interesting development. Most people have I think a least 1 house plant. The problem is with some people is when did they last take notice of them or realize they actually have one that they have forgotten about. A little section of GW devoted to houseplants would go down I think rather well. I mean how many people question brown edges on leaves etc. It is an aspect of gardening where a plant is a success or a fail depending on the environment and conditions you provide for them. They also contribute to purifying and taking out nasties from the air in your home. Doesn't mean that housplants will illuminate flatulence odors. But yes that could fill a little niche in the program.

You could also fill the whole section with how to stop my wife killing them. She is an expert at it and now it down to fine art. It always makes me cringe when her mum goes away and my wife is left to look after the house plants. She only has to look at them and they die. Having said that, I can't really blame them!
