PC crashing every day

    Michael that's good progress, but if you can get the covers off you'll be able to get rid of a great deal more dust. If you look at the back of your tower you should see probably 4 cross point screws if you take these out then you ought to be able to slip off the sides of the tower by pulling them backwards. It's really quite easy and non-technical and would be worth the time and trouble as just blowing through as you've done only shifts a little bit of the dust.

      MichaelJohn, Dave W is right in what he says, you really must take the side cover off, its easy. Watch this clip I made just for you


      It really is as quick as I show in the clip. You may have 4 screws or 3, mine has 2. The screws you want are NOT on the side nearest the connections.
      Don't be frightened, but don't do as I did, still have the pc running. (I had the pc running as I needed to type this, I made the clip, then put the cover back on)

        Water Garden i managed to take the side cover off and gave it a good vac out though to be honest it looked very clean and dust free .. sine then it has not crashed or shown that message but it did stop while i was watching gardeners world on I Player and just froze with a buzzing sound , but i did not rec the blue screen and the error message .. so much much better now thankyou .. ive just posted another problem here .. maybe you can help me with this one too ... thanks Micky :SUNsmile:
