    i doubt il ever get to to your standard armandii,your garden must be worth thousands,as of most that have inspired me on gc with the ive had a brill nearly 12mnth on here :ccheers: cost me a fortune like :loll:never knew dirt was so expensive in tons:huh: x
    Aup i went in blue mode last night and ordered..
    campanula,blue bell flower plus a mix,
    salvia,blue queen
    dwarf catmint
    sweetpea princess& captain of the blue..hoping it will grow up the front fence :biggrin:
    and aster,milady deep blue :blue thumb:
    got to love seedaholic its blonde proof now,so helps with filing with the paperwork you receive:blue thumb: ......hopefully :lunapic 130165696578242 5:x

    I think my garden is worth more than money, Joolz, as yours and other gardeners gardens are worth more than money to you and them!!!:snork: I like Blue flowers and in particular blue Geraniums, you've certainly chosen some good plants there.:thumbsup: I like Seedaholics as they give the personal touch, with a little hand written note attached, and all the information, as you say, you need. I buy from Nicky's seeds too, always well packed and with info.
    I'm starting to get a lot a seeds showing now as we've had a couple of days warm weather and that seems to have got things moving in the Green House. The borders are filling out nicely now and I've even got some early yellow tulips out at the side of the Arbour.:biggrin:

    If you like blue then here's a shot of my front verge in late spring. It's not proper blue but gives that effect. It changes to deep red and pink later in the year.

      Have you got any enchinacea seedlings? some of my varieties havnt popped up yet,it supposed to be good weather for the next 2 days so maybe like you say that will help them along :) ive got lots of blue geraniums(not sure which one)ive been moving them over to the shade border they spread for fun :) i need to give some more away,ive got some blue scabious just sprouting,thinking about blue when do the blue hymalayan poppies show armandii?i put some of them about.
      Another week and another amble and you will have loads more pics to put on:blue thumb:

        My Echinacea's haven't shown as yet. The quickest of the mark were the Digitalis and the Cosmos, followed by the Asters!! I think I've got some juggling around to do in the Green House so that the ones that are coming on are nearest the door and easier to check on:snork:

        Its the purple ones that havnt shown yet,yellow coneflower and the white swan are coming along nicely,mixed aster and cosmos ase up same as yours are,rudbeckia,night scented stock and achillea ptarmica are joggin on aswell:blue thumb:ive moved some things to the pot shed(sow direct seeds) as i dont think they need a higher temp :scratch: but il be giving a lot of them away to neighbours so thers no rush for them to grow yet x
        I bet its been hard work keep checking under all your propagator lids...so many of them:phew: x

        It has, Joolz!!:biggrin: But some seedlings are at the stage where the lids are off to stop them from getting too drawn. I agree with you about not rushing the plants, some are going to take longer to germinate and grow than others anyway. It's just great to see it all happening though, and then walk out into the garden and see the same thing happening in the borders!!:biggrin:

          i can imagine! i asked for the pot shed cos my backs knackered,less bending is soo much better :blue thumb:x Theres some scabious that has started to grow from last yrs stalks which i was suprised about as i didnt know it did that,i thought it might re seed its self in places thou,im still learning :SUNsmile: i cant wait to see them all growing in the summer and take satisfaction & pride that ive grown it myself :dancy:ive killed the banana dwarf plant :cry3:but i might have a bash at cannas next yr i think im too late this yr,we are putting the electrics in the garden tomo ( not looking forward to digging back breaking trenches:runforhills:)so hopefully il have heating in the ghouse or potshed come winter :blue thumb:

          I don't envy you the digging!! Perhaps you can supervise??:snork: Still learning, Joolz, we never stop learning, there's so much in gardening to learn we'll never learn it all!

          I could put heating and lighting in the Green House as the rear of the Garage is only about 15' away.......but I'm not sure I would use it.

          Regarding your dwarf banana dying I have plenty of young ones attached the flowering Banana so if you want a new one I can send you one.

          Thanks for the offer,really kind of you x :blue thumb: but until im expd enough im not going to murder another one :nonofinger: you have a lot of space indoors to keep all yours over wintered so you dont need to reheat some where else:blue thumb:xx ,where as i dont and have kids n lots of traffic:doggieshmooze:which i love :) they have been banned from window cills for a month bless them:SUNsmile:
          Darrans been thinning out that big helicopter tree and redesigning the fish pond today at bottom of garden so his pulled a muscle...no pain no gain :snork: so il be digging,grounds soft :smile: should be easyish :loll:x 28 mins to spring:spinning:

          Yes, the non-cultivated ones do, but you need to be careful you don't get rid of the seedlings when weeding. We cheated a bit on the front verge, not by planting any but by digging out, from amongst that section, the ones that came up pink.
