Strcitly speaking it's the OH that can use the hose but, I suppose, you are the official helper! :)

Sorry, couldn't be bothered to read all 10 pages, so this may have been mentioned already.

Us oop north could be in trouble soon. Twas on't news this morning that parts of Yorkshire are either in or close to being officially in drought.

      Not guilty, M'lud :dunno:

Surely the date on the paper should be April 1st?

Quoting from the paper.....'it hasn't rained here since 1963 and I'm not losing anymore plants'. Wasn't 1963 one of the worst winters for snow? Not technically rain, but the same effect. Also, he's saying no rain for 49 years. Hmmm, I don't think he's quite the full ticket especially if he's sawn a leg off!

I'm with you Shiney, The paper should have been dated April 1st. :)

I've got 5 gigantic "Wolf" looking dogs! (all very friendly), don't tell the water board! I wanna see their faces if they call!

Am I right? I can run a trickle hose off my water butts at the same time as filling up my butts from a hose from the mains? if so, INSANITY, what prat is being paid for being an ignoramous (arse)

No need to run a trickle hose off your butt! You can run it off your hose as long as you have a pressure reduction valve - and you can't fill up your butt with a hose.
