      Yes good luck with ebay.

One thing I will say, often things are not worth what you thought / will let it go for.
I paid around £400 for some kit, (doesn't matter what it was now) I really hardly used it, but the most that was offered was £50, I was looking for around £150, it never sold.
I also look for another bit of kit, and I have to laugh when I see it starting at £90 when if you look around you can get a brand new one for £30, and other sellers are starting auction at 99p, I often wonder do they sell any at £90

Its not as bad a s it looks. But do take into consideration postage, although the buyer pays it, make sure you have quoted how much it really does cost to post.
I sometimes get quibbles for my postage, when I am selling some "expensive kit" I want to know it will arrive in one piece, is insured and must be signed for, I already know that is £18, so that's what postage is on some stuff I sell, but I also offer collect it instead.
        Oh, paypal, that's another subject.

When buying make sure you look at the delivery first

Some sell plants at £1 but postage is £15
same with selling make sure your delivery cost is covered
No good selling a heavy planter at £12 and it costs you £15 to ship
Check feedback when buying anyone over 95% is puka

Mostly it is all genuine, just watch the above
Most newbies say post £8 then when they post it it is only £4 and they put £4 in with the package to recompense you

I have and do buy very expensive Camera gear from China
Arrived within two days and genuine products

My daughter bought a wedding dress and five bridesmaids dresses ebay china
          total cost £400
She showed them via websites the style, and the material
They sent back samples of the material chosen, and to email specific measurements on a card
          She accepted and returned details

          Two weeks later
We got a parcel, it was just a cubic foot in size
OMG we have been done, and got Barbie doll dresses

Nope they were vacume packed, and expanded into the most beautiful perfect copies of the £2000 dresses same material and design with no flaws

I must admit I was sweating on that one though :)

And the Tax man, and the VAT man? Although it does seem odd, I have had some kit from China, no worries, but kit from America and the courier holds it / sends a VAT import duty bill.

As a taxman myself I always pay my dues to my collegues
VAT Value Added Tea, they get a free choccy biscuit with their tea

ID Import Duty, they get sausage rolls Imported Dutifully from my oven

Only joking apart from the tax man bit
