It's 41F at the moment and they forecast rain for the today and tomorrow. I won't exactly run around out there naked :heehee: but I shall be quite happy with it . Frost predicted for Thursday and Friday nights.

Overcast here this morning and Mr Kandy says there were one or two spots of the wet stuff on the windscreen when he went off to work this morning and more is forecast for today but don't know yet if that is correct as the forecast on the Beeb showed us as hardly having any:snork:

Every time we do any washing up we pour the water from the bowl into a bucket and use that to water the garden plants especially our beech hedge that needs loads. It isn't a lot in the great scheme of things but every little helps :snork:

Sorry to hear that Scotcat. When you send it South, would you mind shoving it East and off the coast please:blue thumb:
Currrently we are 7C with rain. It's been raining a few hours. There's no need to water the garden today.
Fingers still crossed that the predicted Snow does not arrive this afternoon - relying on you Scotcat.

Theres some wet stuff falling out the sky here, funny because the hosepipe ban doesn't come in till Thursday so it's not expected till then.

A grey, cold, dank day with rain showers and a cold wind with temperatures around 45f. Right now, at 9.22pm, it's 39f. More of the same tomorrow!!

A day of two halves today; lovely up until noon, hazy sunshine and warm and then it clouded over and rained all afternoon, nothing heavy just steady moderate rain, the temperature dropped too with it.

Out shopping today it was freezing! As I left Douglas the car was reading 1C around 4pm and it was trying to snow. Gale force winds promised tonight.

All my seedlings are now indoors, I'm not risking those in my cold greenhouse.

Thanks Scotcat, it worked. The Snow skirted here. We saw rain and some sleet for about 6 hours, but nothing has laid.
It is chilly, about 1C, with the likelihood of another couple of degrees lower overnight, but hopefully no snow.

4 degrees here, breezy and grey skies, rain for most of the night (stopped for now), no snow or sleet here...a horrible day forecast for today; rain and wind..

On the plus side after all the dry weather of late my 2 rain butts were all but empty but after yesterday afternoon and last night they're now full again :dbgrtmb:

It is now raining heavily again and there's a fair amount of large snow flakes mixed in.....!!!, far to wet to stick though if it turns to full on snow...

The forecast for Shineyland for yesterday and today was heavy rain but there must be a big umbrella up there somewhere. It was sunny all day (but a bit nippy) and it started drizzling about 7 p.m. At 7.30 it decided that drizzling was too much like hard work so took a rest and then only drizzled occasionally until 11 p.m. and then it went to bed.

This morning it is nice and sunny and the pation has dried up. I can't see anything in the water butts . currently 44.1F

If I could I'd send you some of this; it's deteriated even more here, heavy rain, then heavy snow, then a mix of the two, then rain and so on.....you get the picture  , water butts are now overflowing as they're filling up faster than the return pipe to the drain can take it...:snork:

        Time for a cuppa...:coffee:
