The threatened Snow or Frost didn't appear here last night.
It's now calm with Sun and blue sky with broken cloud.

I hope things are better for Scotcat and the others affected by the snow yesterday.

Fairly persistent heavy rain here for the last 24 hours or so. Some water butts overflowing where overflow pipes into the raised veggie beds can't cope. Forecast for light rain all day as well. 4c at the mo.
      All very welcome of course.

Today was our last day before the hosepipe ban and this was the day when we were all going to give everything a good soaking via hosepipe and top up tanks........no need now.:dancy:

It's been very windy here and very cold, with the wind making it feel even colder. It has stayed dry though with no rain or snow. 38f at best right now.

Still no rain, only a noisy shower of hailstones whilst I was in the greenhouse pricking out/potting up toms & chillies

00:20 :-( -2c outside and -1c in the greenhouse under the bubble wrap, so I reckon I have lost what I had

I do not know what happens to plants ouside under fleece, I expect they will still be at
-2c but not actually have the frost on them ?
