Not a problem - as long as you can tell me what to do, when I can take cuttings (off young plants) and how to package them up for posting :)

Question : I planted my Fuchsias out in a planter (4 of them in a large planter) and gave them a good drench of Miracle Gro. It's rained every day since - I've read they don't like their roots soggy, so should I move them into the greenhouse until the weather gets drier or will they be okay?

I am going to move the trailing ones into some hanging baskets which I picked up at Morrisons yesterday.

I also bought a propagator for £3 so I have somewhere to put the little baby ones when I take cuttings.

                      Good morning Merleworld

For now my fuchsias are still in greenhouse and i never put out until;l the 1st week of June as we can still get frosts.

But fuchsias do like rain and yesterday I put them out for a shortspell in the rain then popped back into greenhouse .

Once they are established plants perfect leaving outside.

But they will not survive the winter unless they are hardy fuchsias.

                      FEEDING

From Spring untill buds start to form ,a high nitrogen feed should be used .
Once buds start to form change to a high potash feed any tomato feed will do.

Progator will help it will work same way as havign pot of fuchsia in a ziplock bag.

Good luck with your cuttings canb we have before and after photos.

And if you really what a nice shape of fuchsia turn your pot of fuchsia a quarter turn each day as fuchsia grow to the light.

This way you will have an even shape fuchsia.
