I think that is Cosmos Daydream Joolz , Kyle will correct me if I am wrong.
I grew these last year with C. Sonata Dwarf which seemed to overpower them as they grew like blooming dwarf oak trees ! I am trying C. Gazebo Mixed , which were sprawling all over the seed tray like puppies last time I looked - Cosmos are not the tidiest of seedlings :snork: I use vending machine coffee cups with a hole in the bottom some times to prick them out into they are nice and deep and free if you ferret round the waste bins :blue thumb:

I've grown Sonata and Sensation for a few years....This years are all nice and cosy in the GH....But i've also got them shooting up all over the border where they have self seeded...probably got even more in the borders than i've sown:rolleyespink:...
This year i have also sown Phoenix a "vivid orange" it's a dwarf variety which is new to me..looking forward to the end result:dbgrtmb:

You're all making me a little jealous on this thread now. I toyed with growing cosmos for the first time this year but decided not to with so many other seedlings under way. I wish I had now.........definitely next year! :dbgrtmb:

Thanks Joolz, but I really haven't got anywhere to put them this year. I've grown so much I'll probably have to do a boot sale when I've used what I need. :)

:wow: That is a lot you've got going there. :) I have a bout 6000 seedlings going and just one, two tier flower bed to be filled and a number of planters outside. I just haven't got round to creating anymore beds yet. :)
