    I did sheal,it reminded me to go plant the 2 i got from wilkinsons weeks back :blue thumb:
    All this stalkin armandii made me forget :heehee:

      I don't need enemies when I have friends like you two.:dunno::snork: Don't forget to soak the Paeonies in water for half an hour, Joolz, if they've lying around in a packet for a few weeks.:thumbsup::biggrin:

      To late :oops: they are planted now,i can pop out n water them some more thou :heehee:
      doubt thatl help :scratch: should i of buried the sprouty bits aswell ?:redface:

      No, the "sprouty bits" [getting very technical now, aren't we?:heehee:] can stick above ground okay. Just as a matter of interest it's a good method to just drop bulbs and corms into tepid water for half an hour before planting, gives it a better start than going in "dry".:biggrin:

        funny :heehee: ..i only asked cos the tree lillies i planted yest kristen said to bury em so deep(even sprouty bits:heehee:) so wanted to check just incase it applied to paeonies aswell :blue thumb: i did soak the echinops but that was cos it said to on the box :)

          I plant the fleshy root part of my herbaceous Peonies slightly "proud" of the soil, they seem to respond much better than if it is covered, and I think "overly deep" planting of (herbaceous) Peonies is a cause of failure.

            Should flower this year, but will be better in subsequent years.
