Having said that, I'm still finding lots of patches of seedlings that I have no idea of what they are.......half the fun of gardening, I guess.:snork:[/quote]

I spent ages the other day weeding out what I thought were cow parsley seedlings (bane of my life :runforhills:) then thought they didn't look quite the same as others in the garden, suddenly realised last autumn I'd sprinkled seed of welsh poppies in this area and I'd just pulled out all the seedlings:thud:

Oh, I have done that so many times over the years:heehee: I made a mental vow some years back to leave all seedlings alone, despite the urge to treat them as weeds, until I know what they are. I spend ten minutes all over in the garden just checking on their progress until I can be sure whether it's a weed or not. A Hoe is a dangerous thing in my borders as they are so crowded that you can easily cut down a prize plant, so I don't use one anymore.:snork:

Yep!, Joolz, it does have a habit of suddenly bursting into life and the bare soil suddenly starts to disappear, but I like that. Soon it'll be a case of being unable to walk down the paths without wading through the foilage, especially as I've put in more plants again.:snork:

The cats love the Jungle, although they have to change old routes when the plants start growing thicker and thicker. I've got my plans for the seedlings in the Green House!!:heehee:

I bought some Catmint last year, and have sowed some seeds of it this year, but the cats after sniffing it totally ignored it:scratch: I'VE got Spearmint, ordinary mint, Black Mint, apple mint and around 4 to 5 other varieties.....too dark outside to check!!!

                    Lovely photos, everyone.

When can I get out into the garden I'll take some photos of my exochorda and start a new thread 'How's Your Exochorda Going?' It'll keep a good timeline on them :dbgrtmb: and we'll see how they compare in different parts of the country. :)

Got a few things to sort out first.
