My Lucky Day FREE Victorian Bricks

In The Street where i live they have Demolished a old Victorian Factory
and left thousands of bricks on site
the site has remaind empty for the past 3/4 months

Houses are being built on the site its all fenced off with security fenceing

There is a Number on the Fence so thaught id give them a call to ask for some bricks

Ive Got 450 left over From Building my Folly & need 300/350 to enable me to have a go @ Building a Arbour with a Diffrance!!!

The Guy who Anserd the phone was a lovely old school Blackcountry Mon :WINK1:

He asked me wot i wanted the bricks for i told him Ive took up Gardening and want to have a go @ a Project of a Arbour as Iv Built a Folly

He said Listen Our Mon I Carnt Aurthise you to go on the site because of insurance purpuses

But in the next 2 weeks a gang of blokes will turn up on site to crush all the bricks for Hard core CRIMENAL IN MY BOOK!!!!!

IF You Give them my Name His Name that is tell them Ive said its ok and also tell them to load the bricks on to your motor

When you Have Built This Arbour My Gang of Blokes will be on this site for aprox 2 years & wonce a fortnight i will be dropping in to cheq there progress I Dont Come weekley Any More As Im 78 and got a house in the south of france and 1 here in the Blackcountry

Well done Folly Mon....it's criminal what stuff gets trashed on the building...I managed to 'liberate' an old foot scrape that has a glazed brick built in it last week, from the house that I posted when it was demolished.

what is even more precious than bricks is the warm "feel good" factor you have planted in his soul and he yours too. Its little windows like these that restore one's faith in humanity. I do hope so much that he gets to enjoy the cha and biccies with you in due curse.

Fantastic one Nick Just wear a hi viz jacket & a hard hat, you can get away with anything then. My old site manager walked halfway to Wales on the new Severn Bridge while they were building it, no one stopped him.

 

The Guys Arrived onSite Today @ 330 pm un loaded the Digger 40 ton Baby

told me to go @ 8 am in the morning for my 300 bricks lucky lucky Day

 

Those bricks are fetching nearly £1.50 each down here. I can't believe that they are going to crush them. Once they are gone that is it, lost history.
