I've had the same weather as Bilbo it seems, dry and sunny, warm enough to sit in the Sun. but with a very cold wind. Luckily, my garden is protected from the North so the wind coming from that direction doesn't have much impact. Even so the outside temperature has been, at best, 53f and right now is reading 48f.:snork:

Yesterday was nice and sunny but much colder than it looked. It's currently showing a temperature of 'freezing' :hate-shocked: and there's a very heavy frost. The forecast is sunny all day and then seven days of rain. I wonder if that's a hint to get some mowing done this afternoon? :heehee:

-3 on the way to the station @ 6am ; going to spend the entire day worrying about the poor little plants in the blowaway ; hopefully the fleece tent will have done its job but it was pretty much freezing from sundown last night where I was.

White frosty rooves this morning!! And the bird bath has an ice sheet on top. Not been like this here for quite a few weeks. Lovely clear blue sky and 4c now. Blackbird singing his little heart out and a pair of wood pidgeons are nesting in the ivy a few feet from the bedroom. Yuk, what ugly little babies they are. I googled them last night . Wish I hadn't looked now!! Looks like we are in for a few coolish days and nights so everything stays put indoors.:grphg:

Harry rocks and the Isle of Wight. A lot of rockin and rollin due methinks. See you all on Saturday,

Yesterday brightened up after a couple of hours of drizzle and today we have light showers on and off. The plants are loving it.

Thunder, lightning and torrential rain that I haven't seen the likes of for a couple of years or so.
