I've just edited your post harry so the image now works:blue thumb:

back to the plant and it's a Camellia rather than a rose but I don't know for sure why it has two distinct pink shades maybe it's two plants close together? or it could be the lighter pink flowers are older?

Is it me or are the leaves on one half slightly different shade of greens ?
I think this is two plants next to each other, trimmed to form one bush shape ...

I agree with Evil Len, but it's lovely whatever it is.

well, I have the same thing twice. My pink with darker stripes camellia has a few branches of red flowers, and its neighbour, white and later, has also a few red flowered branches. Sports?

Possibly, but I feel unlikely on two separate plants at the exact same time:scratch: does it do this regularly each year? is there any visible scaring on the main plant stem where it may have been grafted?

But are they Roses or Camellias, I ask? I can't see the leaves properly but they look like Camellia leaves rather than Rose leaves ... or I need to go to SpecSavers (or MultiOptico here) ... :heehee:

PS Sorry, just noticed that Little A (who is not so little I might add) had said Camellia ... muitas obrigadinhas A xx

first spring I have this garden, so don't know yet. But more than one branch at least on the pink Camellia. On the other hand, both the pink and the white are quite substantial - 4-5 feet tall - and the red branches are not from the base or even the largest branches, so who knows.
