ARMANDII, we will all wait to see them in bloom. :dbgrtmb:
I myself have amassed quite a bulk of peonies, both in terms of numbers and varieties.
We had 9 existing shrubs in the place and none of them have been flowering for years. I invested considerable effort to get them back to life (cutting foliage back and feeding) and 5 of the shrubs performed quite nice over the past two years.
Of the names you suggest, I believe they must be something like Sarah Bernhardt...
This is a last year picture:

Now I have 5 more herbaceous varieties: one nameless white (from a neighbour's garden) and another nameless red. I also have a long dreamed of paeonia tenuifolia, which is too young to flower, but even the leaves present an incredible sight now :wub2: (I'll show later, now it's pouring outside). I'm also waiting to see whether Prairie Charm and Sword Dance will bloom this season, provided we've just been introduced to each other. :WINK1:
And I have five tree peony varieties, but never seen them in bloom (quite logical, as I acquired three plants last summer and another two last month).

Hmmm, sorry to have broken into your 'bad habit' digression. :heehee:

Angelina, that sounds like a goodly number.

How far advanced are your tree peonies? Ours are nearly ready to break into flower - I've counted 32 buds on one of them! :rolleyespink:

Not really very advanced, and not very mature plants, I'm afraid, Shiney. I think one of them has 2 buds, but I am an inexperienced tree peony grower and I'm not sure I can distinguish between flower buds and new leaf growth. :heehee:
I can't give pictures right now as the rain outside is steady and quite substantial.

But :wow: 32 buds will be worth a photo session from all perspectives (including bird view ).

Just to be getting on with for a while :dbgrtmb:. This was the end of April last year - whilst it was still opening up.

Hi, Angelina, it good to know you're a Paeony Person:snork: As for breaking into the "Bad Habit" digression....you have my undying gratitude!:heehee:

For some reason your images are not showing in your posts, what system are you using to upload?? It's a shame as I really would like to see them.

The Paeonies I have are "scattered" into different borders and, consequently, are in different situations, i.e: Sunlight, semi-shade, and sunlight and then shade, but they all seem to do well.

I've had to wade through my Photobucket site to get pics of my "Sarah Bernhardt" but anyway here they are:

            Plus my "Bowl of Beauty:

I have yet "got into" Tree Paeonies.........I don't know why, maybe not enough time and too busy with other plants. But I'll have a look at them:snork:
