The Boy was 17 this week so took him out for the day. No flash photography in the caves because of the bats & unfortunately the camera couldn't handle the low light.

Most of the pics came out like this:sad:

Took some for Folly Mon outside though,

Saw a Lesser Horseshoe & Pipistrelle Bat, along with a cave spider that can actually break human skin:yikes:

They are doing Cave Aged Cheddar in the caves, along with wine too. Bought some of that, lovely.

Had a good go on the penny slot machines in the funfair museum too:dbgrtmb:

        Cheers Lolli:dbgrtmb:

It is lovely, just wish they'd loose the giant fibreglass Dinatrons, they weren't impressing anyone & just spoil the valley.

We didn't think to take any pics of them, they are a marketing guru's idea of what kids want to see on a day out, consisting of a 30 foot Gorrilla, Dinosaurs, intersperced with pirates and canons, all made of fibreglass, oh, and just in case the child wasn't confused enough, a model of Neandertal Man in the middle of it:what:

Is it a wonder that kids have no idea of what a timeline is apart from the Facebook one?

My kids just wondered why they didn't show the genitalia, after all, a 30 foot Gorilla would be quite a talking point:snork:

                  Nice one Nick,

By the time you come to build the next one, you'll be carving your own Mullions.

                  Hell of a lot cheaper.

                  Hi there

I work voluntarily for my son's business which provides slideshows for old people's home and we are presently creating a show about Somerset's gardens.

We would like permission to use your four Wookey gardens photos if you'd be so kind? If so, can you please email me back here: [email protected] - making sure you include the title/link of this picture in your email so I can easily identify it.

                  Thank you.
                  With kind regards

                  Sarah Perrott
