started thinking about what colour to paint/stain my fence panels.

considering the tropical/contemporary planting theme, the decking, the colour on the shed, balustrades and gate and the cream on the house, what would you think will look best?

only colours i'm not fussed on is green & blue, so there not on the poll.

    interested to see your choices.

    thanks in advance,

Hummm, since your open to "Black" Black would really pop out what ever other colors you put in front of it. It would also be a nice reflection if you put yard lights around. And it would be a nice complement to you warm brown deck, and cream colored house.

I quite like the natural look u have in ur 1st photo but dont know how u could blend the others in unless you painted them cream  i think lighter shades give you a illusion of a larger garden aswell :blue thumb:

Deffo light brown; I'd get a few gallons of creocote from Wickes and apply with a large brush

In the absence of Holly Green (Cuprinol Garden Shades), i voted for Black, Cuprinol again. Once my Holly Green is finished i'm going for Black next year on the re-paint. As suggested above it will look nice with lighting in the dark, preferably low voltage as opposed to solar. I'd be cautious if you use a light green stain like in the image above, if that's what it is, as i found with stains such as Barentine as they do tend to fade with a bit of weathering as opposed to paint. I only do my fence once every 5 years normally which is ample with the Cuprinol. I'm just using the green up at the moment to cover the bare patches that the Bamboo has created in the wind.

It may ruin the effect IMHO.

smother the panels with creepers .... there are many evergreen ones that suit most aspects

it always looks more natural and nicer (to me)
