Sorry, that's not my intention. Unless Fukishima blows the atmosphere off in 35 days, I think we'll be alright. People as a whole have to change their ways a bit, but that's happening. All I'm saying is let's stop trying to be god and looking after the entire planet in one go, lets just do as give a bit of thought to how we manage our gardens etc (as most of us do) and try to make sure our little buddies are going to be ok. I can't stop some ice half way round the world from melting, but I can make sure my garden has a something in it for the bees and butterflies and all the other little creatures that increasingly rely on people's gardens as a refuge.

      Fukushima won't blow ....

but long term effects will be bad as they are still pumping thousands of litres of radioactive water into the ocean, and will continue to do so ... and which will be transported via currents

I think it was the Hopi Indians who predicted that 1/3 of all oceans will be heavily polluted .... all their other predictions have come to pass

The Hopi Indian predictions, like most mythologies, are passed down in such obscure stories that any interpretation can be made. It's extremely easy, after the fact, to say things were predicted. One Hopi Indian that I met told me his father said that the interpretation of the 'Spider' prediction was all about the internet. Whereas his grandfather interpreted it as referring to the telephone - the internet hadn't been invented then! He said (he's a bit of a cynic :heehee:) that it's referring to telepathy that we're all going to be able to use once the nuclear disasters occur.

Very sobering footage dim. What on earth was that lady reporter doing so near the Chernobyl plant? I wonder whether more is known than is being released to the general public. Where do you find all this stuff?
