Advice on a petrol lawn mower

Hi all, my cheapy petrol lawn mower has finally died on me after 7 good years of service so I need a little advice on what to buy next. The attached image is my back garden which I would say the grass area is about the size of a tennis court. I have been looking at a Honda HRG415PD 16" Izy Push Mower which I can purchase locally for £265 after a cashback from Honda. Is this a good mower and a good deal, or can anyone recommend something else around the £250ish mark??????? Please help. Thanx, Doug.

if you don't mind electric, the bosch rotak 40 is one of the best mowers on the market pound for pound IMHO .... it even picks up grass in the pouring rain... £135 ... absolute bargain and even does decent stripes

if you want petrol, the Honda is OK, but don't mow when the grass is damp

 

i use an Atco Admrial 35s petrol and love it i bought it a few weeks ago 2nd hand bargin £80 quid as brand new!!! NICE STRIPES Grass collector

I had a Honda for 14 years and the only reason I scrapped it was because I couldn't get parts anymore when it aged. Apart from that it never let me down. I made the mistake of buying a Hayter after that, now 3 years old. Never again! It's so temperamental.

Go with the Honda!

 

etesia are the best .... thats why many councls use them ....

a good used one on ebay will cost approx £300-£350 .... buy it new, and expect to pay approx £2k+ .... a full service on one costs approx £120
