    Well I have no idea,
I planted seeds, just a couple courgette, and six cucumber
The courgettes are at the moment in the greenhouse about ten inches high and wide in 12" buckets
The cucumbers are about three inches high in the small plastic water drinking cups ala coffee machine type

Do I grow them in the greenhouse along with my Tomatoes, or do they go outside, if so when (bearing in mind location FIFE)

Do they climb or just spread along the ground

Space, the GH is 8x10, tomatoes planted in the soil borders either side for first 8' leaving me a 2' wide by 8' space along the back of the GH Could they fit in there
Do they need climbing frames ?
How high do they grow ?
Could they grow between the tomatoes ? in fact could the chillies grow there too

Ooops forgot about my Chillies, so outside for the others would be best for me

Maybe one courgette and one cucumber inside, with the chillies, then

    Regards Jack McH

Courgettes get very large and sprawling, they need to be outdoors when the weather improves. Once planted they don't need any support, just hopefully keep picking them, if you leave them on the plant they turn into marrows and the plant stops flowering thinking it has done it's job for this year.

What sort of cucumber is it? There are outdoor 'ridge' types and indoor types. Guessing you have indoor types like the all female F1 varieties, these are very tender and need to be molly coddled more than tomatoes in terms of warmth and getting watering right. They need a solid frame to grow up, some types have tendrils that they use to cling on, but usually you have to tie them up as well. They can quickly grow to the height of the greenhouse, let them trail down after that or train them across if you have space.

It's best to keep cucumbers a bit more humid than tomatoes, this is difficult to do if they are in the same g.house. But don't splash the roots with water or over water to begin with as they are susciptible to stem rot and will suddenly collapse and die, once they get established this isn't such a problem.

Chilies will need the heat of your g.house.

      Hiya Jack.

You don't say what Cucumbers they are? Could be indoor or outdoor. As for the Courgette, that's one for outdoors. You will need to keep it inside for now, as they are tender. They will need hardening of, so start this process in around two weeks, planting them out in around three weeks time.

      Cheers...Freddy.

The cucumbers are Ridge outdoor seeds from Lidl's, and quite suprised they grew so easily

Do I replant in the ground or leave in 12" pots

        Thanks John and Freddy

I grew outdoor ridge last year (market more) they will grow outside once it warms up a bit, however I grew two of them indoors on stainless fishing trace in 10" pots, they cropped more than the other four outside put together, tho the ones outside did crop ok in the end.

I would say (if you have room) keep one plant in the green house for early cropping and chuck the rest out to do their thing, hedge your bets!
