Having another look again this morning, I can see no sign of a chillax area. Where do you flop when weariness takes over?

Hi Jenny we used to have some cheap and nasty plastic patio stuff but it was horrid so we got rid, there is no actual seat or seating area at the moment, that is something that is planned; not going to buy anything I'm going to construct something 'rustic' (I'm currently collecting stuff from freecycle, I have some 2ft lengths of railway sleeper so far :snork:), in the meantime I just sit on one of the steps with a cuppa..:coffee:

I'm sure that what you create will fit the bill beautifully Bilbo and I look forward to seeing that photo in due course. I like a garden step as it doesn't matter how rot and scruffy you are - it's always a welcome spot.

I'm still a fair bit behind you on my garden project. I had planned all sorts in terms of chill-out areas when the garden was still just a slab of severely compacted dead clay. As its kind of started to take shape though, I'm finding my deck chair ends up in one of a small number of specific spots, or sometimes I'll just park myself on a pile of temporarily place bits of various junk. I've therefore come to the conclusion that permanent seating areas might not work, but instead it might be better to just have different 'perches' dotted about hear and there, and a deck chair.
