here are a few pics of the pots i have planted up to give you an idea of what i have done just to inject some instant colour and effect for now

i have done four of these , there is a rose in the center of each one

back pot is lupins and the front one is a spirea snowmound and marigolds around the edge

meant to be a strawberry planter but i have planted a mix of the creepers that mam had plus a nemesia in the top which i bought just something different lol

mams view now from her window

the builder says not to plant anything untill the work has been done as some of the lawn will be lost when the paths are layed and the garden will have to be used to store what is needed for the down stairs bathroom being built but at least if things are in pots they can be moved
have decided to buy more of these pots from Morrisons

i have been on the phone with mam and she informs me that all pots are doing well and thriving in all this rain we are having, i have some of those large veg bags spare this year as i have the plot so i am going to plant into some of these until the final work has been done, that way they will have a head start for when they are put in to final position and it will also give me a visual of how things are looking and if anything needs repositioning
and on another note but still to do with MIL the DHSS have called her in for a interview to see if she is fit to return to work  they couldnt have read the 30 plus page report that we filled in and the dr submitted for her :wallbang: so thats something else for her to stress over
