An emotional weekend

Thank you everyone for your kind words, it's much appreciated. I've been working in the garden today to take my mind off it.

As I have already said I am set up with Skype and Windows Messenger so shall be doing a 'face to face' with my daughter tomorrow. The problem is we both tend to get too emotional so we don't do this very often. The last time was last October, when we had a 'virtual' celebration of my son's wedding in America, I didn't go because I fear flying and Hayley couldn't go because she wasn't allowed to leave Canada at that point, she hadn't got her final immigration papers.

So tomorrow, tissues in abundance, we'll be chatting across the air waves face to face. Modern technology is amazing..........when it works!

Sheal, tissues are as cheap as chips. Time spent with family (even if only on Skype) is priceless. Have a lovely time this Sunday,

 

Just finished a three hour session on Skype, it's amazing how quickly the time goes. No tears either.

It also made a bad weather day better, it's been dreadful here, rain and gale force winds.

wow thats crazy weather here has been lovely i spent the whole day at the allotment
