    You'll need hard cash to get through Turkish passport control. Make sure you have dosh.

          We are getting €1,23/1,24 to the £ ... very good for us as most of our pension is in £s, the rest in $s which is also very good at the moment for us ... :yay:

            Yes ours as you say is 1.24 only to get it you have to jump through hoops

            If you go to the High St Thomas Cook, They give you 1.18
            If you go on line to Thomas Cook, and order it for pick up the next morning at the shop in the High St you get 1.24

            Crazy but good exchange for us

            Pity your not a bloke, the Turkish barbers are fantastic, mine wasn't at all phased by the power cut & just carried on with his strop razor in the dark:yikes::runforhills:
