I just hope certain cultures who come over to our country to commit crime dont start bringing this in.Or anyone else, the government might start putting it in the water and making us pay more tax or worse still making us vote for them!

That's exactly how it works. I know a few people who smoke anything when they're skint. Years ago I knew a lad that swore he got high after smoking the dried leaves off his dad's tomato plants. At the time I laughed but I've since found out that they are in the nightshade family so I suppose it could be true.

Just looked that one up, tomato leaves contain solanine alkaloids, ingestion would cause gastroenteritis & haemolysis of the red blood cells, damage to the nervous system & loss of sensation:yikes:

I knew a bloke called Death Wish Johnny who used to come round my house, go thru my poisonous plant books & then go out & try the stuff:doh:

Is that old chestnut still doing the rounds? It must be 25 years since I saw a film in Personal and Social Education class about a kid whose life was ruined by drugs. He'd been smoking dried banana skins. In the following class discussion, I remember saying I was shocked that something as common as a banana skin could be a potent drug. The teacher panicked and very firmly stated that it was hypothetical for dramatisation and there's no point trying to smoke a banana skin. He seemed very sure:loll:

No, i've met a guy who said he saved not the skins, but the filaments that form between the skin & the banananana.

When he had enough he smoked them, said he felt really odd, well in fact he said "I saw you on the Moon last night" which is a direct translation of a spanish saying. On account of him being spanish I suppose.
