Cuttings arrived today, thanks Joolz :blue thumb:

What do I do with them now? Do I just shove them in some GP compost or would it help if I dipped the un-rooted ones in rooting hormone first? :help:

Many thanks MW cuttings have just arrived I am away now to pot them up and they can enjoy the company with the rest of their fuchsia pals.

No nead for rooting powder MW they will grow without but you can also use .

Glad they have all arrived okay.

Alas I can't claim the credit for growing them, I bought them from Morrisons as plug plants. The packaging came with some other Fuchsias which I ordered online.

Joolz I've put your three cuttings in some loose compost on a north facing window cill. I've not soaked them but have given the compost a good spray with water. Have I done the right thing or do I need to do something else? :help:

Kath Yes please to Heidi Ann cutting, you're right it is beautiful :blue thumb:

                Alex

                    How are everybody's Fuchsias doing?

My cuttings from Joolz and Scotkat are doing well :blue thumb: Still too young to plant out obviously but they're okay on the windowsill for now. They're quite tough little things aren't they? Is it possible for cuttings to produce flower buds cos there is something teeny tiny on one of them which I can think of no other explanation for?

The ones outside are doing well, especially since we had the sun last week and are really starting to grow. The Miss California which is in a small planter on its own has a couple of buds on it. The others aren't showing any yet.

Mine are all outside and doing fine - including those grown from GC cuttings. These are less advanced of course but I am happy for them to make root growth their priority ATM,
