The main reason we can come is that I've stopped work now having worked every other weekend for 23 years (and on weekend rotas for 20 years before that) I'm glad it's finished and have all weekends free, so I sympathise with anyone who has to work on them.

Yes, strongy, you've been wanting to come for years and haven't been able to but we always appreciated the plants you sent us :dbgrtmb: :love30:

dim, those plants look nice and healthy - but a neat lawn edge would set them off very well! :)

I felt that there were, at last 4 piccies that I could put on GC. Whats looking good today 17 May 2012 001.JPG What a difference a dry, warmer day makes. Planting up planters, window box toms and 2 hanging baskets. Lots of young blackbirds to keep me company.:imphrt:

yup .... the edges is something I need to sort, .... have made mention to the client that there is plastic edging that will sort that ....

this is a new garden in a new build area, and is coming along nicely now .... pretty full and still a bit of space for a few coleus and a few brunnera jack frost

the plants are still small but will look good in a year or 2

Just had another look at this post - it's almost as if you've moved in with me. The new garden is equally smothered in F. me Nots and similar plants too!

I'm really pleased that I took the trouble to lift this before the move, as it's the first time that it has flowered for me.

Thanks Sheal - particularly nice that it's an early blooming species.

Some of our Aquilegias have just started to open (except for the late flowering varieties) and look as though we shall now get quite a bit of colour by the weekend. Only the Beidemeyer are fully open and they are shorter. A very few are approaching 5ft tall :rolleyespink:

The tree peony still has about a dozen buds to open but the first lot of flowers are starting to go over.

The variegated elderberry is starting to look good

This dwarf tree hasn't grown any bigger in the last 30 years

This is just starting to open and I hope it will open more by the weekend
