Snap Jenny, thin cloud cover here with a hint of blue sky here and there, feels milder than the 9 degrees that it currently is and there's no wind; feels lovely not to be chilled to the bone by a pesky breeze.......for now anyway :snork:

A proper mild "spring" day today, not much in the way of sun but with no wind it felt lovely with the temperature hitting 16 degrees too, just a little light rain this morning but then dry for the rest of the day :dbgrtmb: .

If it's any consolation, Jack, it's just as awful down south. Usually when people moan about the British weather I say it's really not that bad but, well, this year it has been. So much needs doing in my garden but I'm afraid I've been wimping out recently. Sometimes I've done the full 'I'm going out ... I may be some time' routine just to fill up the bird feeders. :heehee:

A sunny/cloudy day today. Temperature reached 14C for a while.

Not sure about everywhere else but the whole of next week is supposed to be sunny with temperatures up about 5 degrees. :)

          Totally depressed
Retired four weeks ago, looking forward to my garden, it has rained and rained temperature very low, and now just totally fed up
I want to do so much, but just long for forgetting about it and going back to employment,
At least if you are busy at work you do not notice the weather outside

Took a weeks break to a holiday caravan site Berwick Holiday Haven, it was wet cold and windy, caravan gas ran out at 22:00 on last night and endured -2c for the night, just came home -2c in bed and £4 a pint of beer in the club :-(
Adult entertainment Rory the Tiger and Bradley the bear for children, the adult entertainer it must be my age but he dressed like he had just jumped out of his Joiners white van, even had the belt with mobile on

I am taking my whole family to Italy 25 Jun for three weeks, only hope the weather improves as it is supposed to be a retirement treat not an endurance test for them

For the first time in Forty years my garden is under an inch of water

          Yes totally xxxxxxxx off

Same for this area too Sheal; we have 19 degrees forecast for Sunday and then the start of the week is supposed to be around 17 degrees, but then climbing to 20 degrees by mid-week, still with the chance of the odd shower but I really don't mind that if the temperatures are finally going to climb...:dancy:

This morning is overcast, but dry and wind no wind and 10 degrees now at 6am, looking like its going to be the same as yesterday, which was good on the whole...:blue thumb:

Yesterday was a very good gardening day - dry and mild - and I got a lot done. 50F at the moment, a bit overcast with the sun trying to come through and a quite breezy. Forcast for afternoon is drizzle, dry and sunny tomorrow and showers on Sunday. We'll see if they get it right.
