    Oh God, JWK, you've given me a mental image of myself :ideaIPB: getting each Tadpole, turning it upside down to see which gender it is and then putting it in the appropriate bucket.......I'm pernickity but not that much! It's a boy, plop, it's a girl, plop. it's a boy. plop. it's a girl............:WINK1::loll: :snork:

    so how did the tadpoles cope while you were off on hol?:biggrin: have they got legs yet armandii?i cant see ours for duckweed:heehee: The fish must of eaten the ones in the other pond:dunno: then something ate 3 of my fish :cry3:

    Hi Joolz, to be honest I haven't checked on them as yet. But I plan to don the Chest Waders tomorrow to have a wade in the pond to try to find the lost pot, so I'll check then. I might tip one bucket into the pond to see how they get on. You've lost 3 fish???:scratch: The usual suspect is the Heron......do you have any in the area? While I will fish in any size pond it wasn't me............I was in Cuba, Honest!!!:heehee:

    I will not believe you untill i see some beach,toes and fishing photos :heehee: Ive not seen a heron :scratch: not anywhere round here in the 3yr ive been here,dont tip them in that pond , make them a small one of their own :blue thumb: :wub2:

      You're welcome!!! The fish are called Mannii Mannii, and they took a lure about 10 inches long, the Heron would stand no chance!!:snork:

        The sticks in the water are for line fishing [lines strung from pole to pole with baited hooks on them] the tide comes in bringing the fish with it, the tide goes out and leaves the fish caught on the hook behind.:snork:
