......a bit like the bl**dy squirrel that has just turfed out all my sweet chestnut and hazel seedlings looking for the remains of the nuts  . These seedlings were even in my coldframe and the lid was only slightly ajar....

Luckily I only lost one and potted them all back up individually; they were ready for potting up anyway so perhaps he was trying to tell me something :snork:

However I have now been in contact with an elite black ops unit to "sort" the fur ball out :paladin::snork:....only joking, I'll just have to squirrel proof my coldframe...

An excellent weather day here in FIFE
Lots done in the garden, made four wigwams for peas and runner beans, then planted out said produce, planted out some more cauliflower, and seeded a tub of Spring onions
          Planted out four lettuce
          Then disaster
I do not know how or why, but I fell over in the greenhouse, now the greenhouse is small and I am large, not only did I fall over but I rolled over to get up, my Toms are ruined :cry3: Well the Shirleys are and I only had three of them, some of the Ailsa Craig only I have several more of them, so I may get some produce during the season

I am worrying over the plants, maybe I should be more worried over myself, what and why

About right for my life game, work fifty years and snuff it before I get a years pension out of the buggers

I am undergoing my annual serious chest infection, I know exactly how it goes and how it cures, only the doc will not give me the Antibiotics, until, I can no longer breathe and start drowning, then I get the medicine and ten days later I am fighting fit

Lifes a bitch and then you die :-)

Jack, I clicked 'like' on your post, not really the right thing, but I hope your fall was just a one off. Sorry about the toms, you can buy more or use the remains as cuttings to root.

It's a busy, busy time of year for us all, roll on summer and we can enjoy the fruits of our labour.......assuming we get a summer. :)

I bought granular weed/feed/mosskiller last year that I didn't use, so that went down on the back lawn today. After all the rain we've had I felt a bit stupid watering it in with a hosepipe.

A dry week this week, but T.T. fortnight starts next weekend, so rain will be guaranteed and that in turn disrupts the whole island as the race days get altered and the roads are opened and shut if and when. Oh joy!

Getting down and dirty is all part of the Gardeners Corner ritual Jack. And we all appreciate a banana skin laugh. :lunapic 130165696578242 5: You are a very bonny lad indeed,
