    look really good , by the end of the season will be full ,
    2 little things I`ve notice , the humilis palm can go in the soil , as can take -10 , the red cordyline need to stay in the pot and moved in or covered.
    ps gunnera minicla ....are you sure it`s called manicla?

    oops, my spelling!! the gunnera is called minicata.
    the cordy will be moved in with the palms come winter (in the garage most probably)

    i had the euphorbia in my previous garden, along with the crocosmia lucifer. loved them and i never had a problem hence why i bought some for this garden :)

    update on the gunnera, was right first time it is definately minicla.

    hope they haven't labelled it wrong and i've bought the mahoosive manicata!! good job its still in a pot and not in the ground so we'll see!

    :oopss:....al n, since there is no Gunnera manicia you could be losing your garden to a Gunnera manicata. There are about 16 different varieties of Gunnera......how lucky do you feel??!!:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

        Now that Morrison's have started to extend their plant and flower sections there are some larger (more mature) plants for really reasonable prices. Unfortunately, my garden is too small for these larger specimens.:sick0026:

        A lot of people don't realise how much effort and work goes into creating a new garden and borders, but you've obviously put a lot of effort into yours. al!!:thumbsup::snork:

          it has been hard work and time consuming Armandii, working full time, and looking after the family and fitting in doing up the house and garden in between is worth it though. :blue thumb:

                i'm not taking the chance of the gunnera at the back of the shed, its now in an 'ikkle pot by the little uns playhouse.
