I did want to attend, but unfortunately have 3 plant sales this coming weekend, 2 (Sat & Sun) to raise funds for my daughter's World Challenge trip, + a neighbour's charity plant sale on Sun, so maybe next year.

In hindsight, perhaps I should have sown lots of extra giant tomato & pumpkins, so they could have been collected by/dropped off to by an attendee, for sale to prospective GC competition entrants.

What a pity . I was looking forward to meeting her. :)

I guess you won't be coming to the Indian with us :frown:

Shiney and Mrs. Shiney, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and everything goes well. :dbgrtmb: I'd love to be there to meet you and everyone else but it's just not possible this year. With T.T. starting this weekend it would cost me 500 big ones just to get off the island. :thud:

Next year, fingers crossed. Have a good time! :)

Was great to meet all of you face to face finally :)

          Roll on next year.

I'll post the sly video I took earlier whilst giving a tour of your garden to GC members/staff.

How much will it cost for you to lose the video? :hate-shocked:

It was brilliant to meet everyone :dbgrtmb:

Moyra was great as she coped really well with getting here and miraflores arrived as well - by train  .

Nathan turned up together with Bananaman

Mr and Mrs Folly Mon drove all the way here and are now on their way back. What a lovely couple :)

Everyone else (Mr and Mrs Strongy, Ziggy and Willow and ARMANDII) have gone back to their B&B's to rest and freshen up before going to the Indian. GCQ and Newey are here with us as they will be going home straight afterwards afterwards.

Got a lot of sorting out to do and we'll be ready to start all over again tomorrow. :phew:

Thanks Shiney so much for a lovely day. Steve said how did you get on was it ok and I said ok it was brilliant! It was lovely to meet everybody. Tell Mrs S that her hands worked magic on my knee. She is so good at what she does. I am so tired now I could sleep for a month! Have a good meal tonight with those who stayed on and another wonderful day tomorrow. :)

Thank you Shiney! :spinning: All was organized beautifully and sandwiches were delivered as promised.
Michael and wife Ann are really friendly and nice. Ann is really into growing plants and therefore she is the one more present at the plant stall to follow the sales.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous and a variety of seating areas were available, all well sheltered from the sun.

I got there early so i had a good choice of plants of which my favourite i believe is called lamb ears because the leaves are so soft, covered in a fluffy layer.
Towards 11 o clock Armandii arrived, followed after a while by Nathan, Bananaman, Ziggy, Willow, Strongylodon and wife, Greencuisine and fiance', Moyra, Folly mon and wife.
Anyway we were quite a bunch from GC there aside from many other visitors.
It has been a lovely day.
