The BBC helpfully showed that the North-East would be a nice 18-19C yesterday, unlike the rest of the country which was expected to be mid to high 20'sC.
    Mmm:scratch:
The upside down pool in the garden and debris from a party suggests differently - also my red knees (result of the first shorts of the year).
It was too hot to garden and the hosepipe was well used chasing the hooligan around the garden when he got too cheeky.
Good job I managed to water the baskets and greenhouse morning and evening!

Should have been a slightly cooler day today but it turned out to be our 5th day on the run over 30 degrees; topping 34.4 degrees this afternoon....still 26 degrees now at almost 7pm..

There were some hefty clouds bubbling up about an hour ago and it became very very humid, thought we were going to get a thunderstorm but they broke and the suns out again now, but still very humid..maybe a storm later, fingers crossed..

Looks like we're going to be lucky here, our forecast is still for at least 10 degrees at night all week and into the weekend...

I wouldn't worry too much Jenny, a couple of nights of 8 and 6 degrees shouldn't do any harm - hopefully..:dbgrtmb:

Well I've just seen the first cloud since last Monday.
        Still 21'c outside.
Some rain wouldn't go amiss now!
        Mi soil turning dusty :snork:

The first day for almost a week that it didn't get to 30 plus degrees (thankfully ), it topped out at a still very warm 28 degrees though.

Its currently 19.8 degrees and probably the best sunset so far this year, stunning..
