Stunning, thank you Simbad. I adore that pale blue Iris Jane Philips, then again, I love that black Chrysographs one too. All scrumptious,

Beautiful, everyone. I must get out in my own patch and have a tidy up! There's really no excuse - if Simbad can keep everything looking wonderful, I ought to be able to keep a postage stamp looking good. Love that Iris 'Jane Phillips'.

Jenny and Clara that iris 'Jane Phillips' is amazing wonderful scent, and the even better thing is I swapped it on a swapshop years ago along with this unknown one that opened yesterday.

Verbascum 'Phoeniceum' love this plant it gently seeds around and seems early enough to escape the dreaded mullein moth.

Here's some more colour from an amble around the garden yesterday, it's drizzling now so I'll have to work in the Greenhouse today, I guess.:dunno:

Thalictrum which might be the same variety as Simbad's:

Climbing rose "Masquerade" in it's three stages of flowering, which gives you 3 roses for one!!

A picture of a clematis I bought a few years ago 4 for £10 . This one is Mrs Cholmondely ( where do they get these names from ! ). Lovely pale lavender flowers as big as dinner plates , its now over 9 feet tall ! Flowers for 3 months , the second flush of flowers are a little smaller.
