more id's please

    could you please help me identify these plants especially the first one as it seems to be popping up everywhere all of a sudden. Thank you in advance :)

    2 is a fumitory and is basically a very pretty weed
    3 is that one of those herbaceous pink sedums?

    i quite like all my the poppies even though they are "weeds" so I keep them. are opium poppies ok to keep or are they illegal? sorry for the silly question. :dunno:

    Its illegal to posess poppy straw, thats any part of the dried plant. However, the police would be hard pressed to do anything about it without closing down most of the florists in the country:biggrin:

    Most coppers wouldn't be able to tell an Opium Poppy from a Bus Stop.

      I think the term "Opium" Poppy is a bit of a misnomer for that particular plant, Cyukkie:nonofinger: Your Poppy is an annual which will spread quite happily via it's seeds and I like them in the borders. It will also turn out, probably, to be a Paeonie Poppy i.e: The flower will resemble a Paeonie in shape........and no, it's not illegal.:snork:

      If it has Lilac petals with a slightly darker base its an Opium Poppy.
