Spent four hours planting one tree! Yes, that is a bit excessive, but I had two lots of visitors in the process. Then the new stake broke in half, it just wasn't to be today.

Yesterday it belted down all day and all I managed to do was prune some Rhodos (in the rain). Have deadheaded a couple this morning. Today will consist of a trip to B&Q and then pottering about to see what else needs doing.

Got some rectangular troughs from the pound shop. I have sown lettuce, beet root, radish in those. Cleared out another planter with salad leaves in that had run to seed and put salad onions in there. Fed toms and courgettes, done a bit of weeding and clearing in preporation for my sons friends coming round for a jubilee party tomorrow.

              Rusty.

Just put up some willow screening, went to take a few pictures for some questions I have, however my camera needs charging so that's on hold, checked my lillies again, added some slate to the garden trying to stop local kitty's:th scifD36:.

I've been out most of the morning when it was nice and sunny. It now looks as though it's going to rain, just when I want to work in the garden

I'll pop out there and start tying in the runner beans. It can easily be left if it starts raining.

Hoeing and weeding, as per bleedin' usual. Thankfully the rain stopped play for tea.
